The time has come for this important announcement: 2011 will be the year of the "Green show" where The Watch will play the whole Selling England album and much more... and of course some songs from the band own repertoire...

so we hope you all will enjoy listening to this great Genesis music played live by The Watch in their unique performing style supported by the Hammond organ, the mellotron and 12 strings guitars... close your eyes and get back to 1973 !!!

Back from summer days, the band is hardly working on the new album. There
will be 11 track on it, 4 of them will be covers taken from "From Genesis
to Revelation" period and 'though the whole album is inspered by those very
nice and delicate days, you will find The Watch typical sound in all
original compositions and all the tracks will sound very powerful or
sometimes soft, with the usual care for melodies the band is famous for..
we really hope to let you hear a few excerpts soon, hopefully before the
US-Canada tour.

Days are passing very fast and october is approaching, this means the band
to come back on stage for two great festivals in belgium and UK, Prog
Resiste and Summer's end. Moreover we all are looking forward to get to the
US and Canada for the first extensive tour for the band in those countries,
we're all very excited !

here we go with some news from The Watch camp.. the band is fully working on the new album, due for January 2011, more infos and perhaps an audio snippet in the future.. the album will be a rivisiting of Genesis '69 "From genesis to revelation" album, with a lot of new parts and brand new arrangements in a pure The Watch style. Guys are very proud of what is coming out but as usual, very into the project and fully working on it when not away for live performances.


Here you can see The Watch live in Rome, a week ago, @ Parco degli acquedotti, after the gig the guys are toasting Giorgio's birthday.

Unfortunately the gig in Atlanta scheduled for saturday 30th October has been cancelled and the one in Washington will take its place, so the gig in Washington @ Orion Studios has been moved to saturday 30th October. We're very sorry for all those who were waiting for our show in Atlanta but it's due to circumstances beyond our control and we hope we'll be able to play there next time. Thanks to all at Eyedrum and Allen for their help.

European autumn "Blue Show" update:


here is the update list of gigs this autumn, it will the last time The Watch will perform the blue show, as they will be on the road from January 2011 on, with a brand and completely new show, called "Green show" dedicated to the COMPLETE Selling England by the pound album 1973... more news the next months.
